🚀 Ever calculated how much force is needed to bend a metal sheet? 🤔

Today, we’re diving into a slightly technical formula, but don’t worry, we’ll explain it with a little engineering magic! ✨

Where:  
F = The force needed to bend the metal sheet (our star 💪),  
L = The length of the sheet (how long the sheet is that you're bending 📏),  
S = The thickness of the sheet (the thicker it is, the more force you’ll need 🏋️‍♂️),  
R = The tensile strength (how much the material can withstand before giving in 💥),  
V = The die opening (which affects how easily the sheet bends 🛠️),  
4/3 ratio: The 4/3 ratio is a good reference, but depending on the desired approach (more or less conservative), you could also opt for a slightly different ratio.

💡 In simple terms: the longer, thicker, and more resistant the sheet, the more force you’ll need to bend it. And if the die has a wider opening, it will take less force to bend the sheet compared to a narrower die!
